Females are constantly exploited and underestimated. With so much pomp & show and fun & frolic, the groom's parent welcomes the bride in their house. The daughter leaves his parents home with tears in her eyes as well as a confidence in her heart for her life partner.

The Indian woman not only gets married to a boy, but she considers the bridegroom's family as her. What a predicament of this young bride, who's encompassed by the different individuals, comes with an eagle's eye on her trousseau.  

For them she's a blank check, a hen who will deliver a golden egg for them daily.  Sarcastic remarks, rude behaviour and castigating becomes routine. Lastly, that disturbing day arrives when the woman who was going through this extreme horror at every moment can be either maimed or killed. She's drained with gasoline or other inflammable material and burned to ashes. Some parents overly leave their daughter on her destiny at her in laws location and with cruel husband.
