Growing number of unemployment

GROWING NUMBER OF UNEMPLOYMENT

Growing number of unemployment

As per the All India Council for Technical Education, more than 60% of the eight lakh engineers graduating from the country every year remain unemployed. Only 1% can get enrolled in summer internships.  The most disturbing fact is that only 15% engineering programmes are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

Technical institutes are money making machine for some who churn out graduates who are not employable. Government is planning to roll out one National Entrance Examination for Technical Institutions.
