Nineteen MLAs of NCP Congress suspended from Maharashtra assembly

19 opposition MLAs have been suspended from Maharashtra Legislative Assembly on charges of contempt of the Parliament House. Suspended MLAs have 10 NCPs and 9 Congress. All these MLAs protest during the budget presented by government on 18th March. Inspite of Assembly Speaker asking them to stop, none of them listened and continued to make noise. Legislators were agitating for farmers’ debt waiver.

Congress legislator said that this action is considered to be against democracy, and it shows the anti-farmer policy of state government.

Not only that, these legislators had even brought Manjeer and banner along with them in the assembly. During the speech of finance minister Sudhir Munghtywar, these MLAs continued their sloganeering and made a noise by playing the Manjeer’s. These member's did not stop here, they also burnt budget copy in fire outside the parliament house. In order to interfere in the speech, MLAs also waved banner and raised noise while no public representative in the house has such permission.
