Party Supports Ravindra Gaikwad after 'No-fly' Order

Shiv Sena, an ally of BJP, is far from taking any step against MP Gaikwad who manhandled an airlines employee in Air India. Several airlines along with Air India has booked the MP’s name in the ‘no fly’ list, but the party stands in the Osmanabad MP’s support. The party calls for a shut down in Osmanabad. It is reported that Uddhav Thackrey, the president of Shiv Sena has asked Rabindra Gaikwad to clarify his action.

Gaikwad was stopped from flying on Air India after his  slipper-thrashing assault on an officer; the MP was the least repentant for his behavior and his return ticket was cancelled following this incident. He got blacklisted by four airlines of the country and finally boarded a train for his journey. The Federation of Indian Airlines (FIA) is keen on preserving its stringent action against the unruly behavior of Gaikwad.
