Naxals Oppose to Narendra Modi's Odisha Visit

Naxalites have launched their protest against Narendra Modi’s Odisha tour, by attacking the Daisallu rail station in Rayagada. The naxal posters have shown strong disrespect towards the Prime Minister by calling him ‘rioter, broker’. They want to inspire the people of this country to come forward in solidarity with them. The Prime Minister’s visit to Odisha has been scheduled on April 15-16, on the occasion of the national convention of BJP.

The attackers were twenty in numbers and the attack took place after midnight, as the report says. The station master and a porter were captured by the attackers, who made an explosion in the station. No casualties have been reported; but the railway schedules have been disturbed, four trains being force-stopped.

The police have taken immediate action after the incident. CRPF and Special Operation Group have started comb-search. Movements of express trains and passenger trains have been withheld for now; it will resume soon. Goods trains are being allowed to move in a slow pace.
