India does not Want US to Mediate in Indo-Pak Tension

India has refused the proposal of the United States, for mediating in the Indo-Pak tension. The US says that the Indo-Pak peace is a big concern for them and they would like to take part in the peace process, if the two fighting countries agree.

India says that the international powers and organizations are expected to take active part in the global peace process and abolition of terrorism.

Donald Trump brought the proposal of being a mediator between the two big entities of South Asia, India and Pakistan, during the US election campaign in the last year. He also said that he would wait for the consent of the two parties under consideration. Now Niki Haley, the US ambassador to United Nations, again raises the issue.

India thinks that the Indo-Pak issues are not global and should be solved internally between the two countries.
