A Number of Scam Centers are Fooling Foreign Customers

A new wave of scam has blemished the image of India among foreign customers, who have been tricked by fake call centers to waste their hard earned money in fraudulent schemes. All of it came to daylight after Shaggy, the mastermind behind a fraud firm in Thane was arrested. A spur in such criminal activities will affect the BPO industry to a large extent. Report says that a huge number of unemployed youth are being frustrated and morally degraded, and it leads to fraudulent schemes.

There are several tricks of the scammers; sometimes they sell psychiatric medicines which are not supposed to be sold without prescription, to US customers at low price. Sometimes they call loan defaulters and scare them to snatch money. Also there is a cheque trick (deposit cheque, claim it as a mistake, drain money and then cancel the cheque) to make people fool.

With the progress of technology activities of digital fraud are on the high. The jobless youth are losing their motivation and getting involved in fraudulent schemes to make quick money. The system strives hard to catch the wrong-doers. The system also needs to motivate the youth to choose the right path.
