Ignore Trolls to Stay in Peace: Say Experts

Online trolls have become a nightmare for Indians on the social media. Whatever be the issue, note-ban, cow-slaughter or anti-Romeo squad, a group of perverts vent their rages. These mindless trolls do not care for reasons. They just shower verbal abuse on the virtual platform, as nobody can catch them.

Now the sensible people have started talking about the issue. After Gurmehar Kaur, a Delhi university student and the daughter of a martyr spoke for peace on the social media, she was flooded with hate trolls. But she braved everything and said she can bear the ‘hate bullets’. There are thousand other cases happening everyday.

Andre Bourque and Hayley Irvin write on Huffington Post that these trolls should be ignored; a sensible person cannot really get involved in an endless abuse-exchange. A troll has nothing to do except irritating others; but a person who has a thousand things to do, should keep his/her mind unpolluted. As these things can come easily, they can be ignored easily, say Bourque and Irvin.
