Indian IT Suffers from Lack of Talent

INDIAN IT SUFFERS FROM LACK OF TALENT

Indian IT Suffers from Lack of Talent

A striking revelation shows that most of the IT engineers of India lack the talent of software development as they cannot write the logical code for a program, which is the primary criterion of qualification. A research organized by a talent assessment firm brought this striking fact to daylight. The number of eligible candidates for a program developer’s job is below 5 percent. Candidates were judged by Automata—an assessment based on Machine Learning. Only 1.4% of the candidates were able to write codes which were functionally correct.

It is a matter of consideration for the Indian IT industry; while the world is moving fast in software and data science, India finds it hard to cope with the pace of the world. Question is raised about the mode and quality of training in the engineering colleges. If the problem is not addressed in time, the Indian IT youth is going to face utter frustration in the job market.
